New Sunglasses, New Shoes and New Dress

Vintage fair was okay. Found some beautiful things but the prices were too high. So I ended up only buying a pair of sunglasses.

Here's my latest shoes from tradera...

Really beautiful pair that I got of Tradera for 90 swe crowns ( £8 or $13). They're practically new. Labeled "Ingeborg", same as the dress I bough at "Emmaus" vintage shop.

This pair I got a long time ago for 50 swe crowns ( £4.5 or $7), also Tradera. Labeled "Hebe".

To comlete the spring look, to go with those shoes, I bought a Daisy Midi Print dress by Warehouse.

Bye for now!

Vintage Fair and Lots More

Picture is borrowed from here

Tomorrow is Vintage Fair in Stockholm and I am definetly going to be there. For the first time I have a day off and have time to pay a visit. Everything from Beyond Retro to Sweedish Hasbeens will be there. Well there I will have a chance to try on the sandals I so long for. :)

As others, I love, LOVE vintage shops and lately I've been visiting a lot of those. Mainly, I buy things for home, clothing, accessories and bags, but almost never shoes. To tell you.... no idea to buy shoes at vintage shops. I never find any that suits me and if I do.. well, then they're really expensive. So I buy my shoes at Tradera. Here's a pair I got yesterday in my mailbox:

Got them of Tradera for only 150 SWE crowns ( about £13 or $21). Now I am waiting for a pair of red clogs (have a pair of white as well), and another pair of 40's silver sandals. When I have loads of time I will show you my whole shoe-collection. :)

About this pair; I grabbed these in a hurry from a second hand shop, Myrorna in Skärholmen, without trying them on. They were clothing and were sooooo rude! It's unbelievable how rude they were. It was 1 minute over the clothing time and they screamed at everybody! SCREAMED!!? I don't even know if I ever want to go there again because of the shitty service. Though I found a lot of beautiful things.
Well home I tried them on and was disappointed: they were too big. :( They are almost new but in size 38. I put them out on Tradera and if nobody get them I'll hope for my feet to swell in the summerheat so they fit perfectly, haha.

TRADERA
Myrorna is the not the only vintage shop I tend to visit. This thuesday I visited Emmaus vintage shop at Götgatan and got me a floral dress by Ingeborg. Try to find out something about the label but did not succeed. I have put out my last money on that dress and it was worth it:

I never tried it on either and there were no size tags. But it didn't matter, I paid only 60 SWE crowns (about £6 or $9) for it. The dress is probably size 38/40 but if you use the belt it doesn't show. Well spent last money. Don't you yhink? :) Evrything on that dress is intact. All buttons and evrything is in great condition. The dress reminds me a little bit of Ulyana Sergeenkos last year collection. Not as beautiful but still... :)

I will round up now and at last show you the dress I got last summer for half the price and my size... but it's not vintage.

Beautiful swing dress! Makes me wanna dance Lindy-hop! and maybe I will :P

Bye for now!

Candy for summer

Well... everybody's talking about these beautiful shoes and now I'll start :)

I took a look at Sweedish Hasbeens' homepage and I just had to have a pair of those gorgeous shoes! But the  thing is I just couldn't decide what colour I should choose! I want both but my pocket is not big enough!
Well, at least I narrowed it down to a particular style: Striped Beach Sandals

I love those yellow coloured and they go with everything and are very summery! The blue coloured are my favorite as well but I am not sure if they will go with everything! But they sure are summery!
And I just can't decide!

Bye for now!

I just couln't hold myself anymore and for the first time in my life I ordered some pretty stuff from ASOS. haha
Nothing surprizing there.. Everything was and is on sale, so I felt like a kid in a toystore. :)
Oh, and yesterday I got home a pair of navy-blue trousers from Heyday. They fit perfectly... and it is actually my first pair of pants since 2010 :)

Here's some stuff I ordered:
Miss L Fire wedges. Pretty aren't they? :)

dress with 40's inspiration

I just liked it :)

Late Christmas Presents

On 25th of December I was supposed to get the most awesome christmas present ever... but I never got it. Eddie bought me a reproduction of LP/everything-player but it never arrived. We waited and waited, and in the end when we finally decided to decline the order, it arrived! Unfortunetly it was too late because by the time it arrived I already chose other christmas presents for myself. I was sad because the player was really gorgeous, don't you agree?

But glad was I because I bought me actually some nice late christmas presents!

A pair of swedish clogs "Moheda". I bought them at half price from Tradera-auction site. (Will go lovely with a pair of swing trousers).

An evening dress from Julian McDonald's Star collection. (Hopefully it arrives tomorrow, before Valentine's Day, so that I can put it on). I know it's not 40's but LOOK AT THOSE SLEEVES! I just love them! Not the dress as much as those sleeves!

I also decided to buy me a pair of swing trousers from Heyday as "late christmas present from Eddie". (All of them actually are). The purchase will probably be completed next week, because I have a lot of studies to do right now AND it gives me more time to decide what colour of the pants I want. I would love them in colour black but unfortunately Heyday-store have run out of my size. Now I'm choosing between navy-blue, grey and brown. Hopefully the navy-blue won't be sold out when I finally will settle with the colour. If I say so will!  :)

What colour would you choose?

Christmas Tree & New Year

Now Christmas has passed and it doesn't feel like it. It is still no snow here in Sweden and feels like spring is on its way. To be honest, I hate Spring. Here's how it is in my world... first comes Winter, then Autumn, then Summer and last commes the Spring...

Well, anyways... My parents came to Stockholm and we celebrated the holidays together. Lots of presents to everyone but not all have been opened yet. Eddie went to Skåne to celebrate with his parents and friends so the rest of the presents are saved for later.... Now I'm spending time by sitting here and writing my New Year's resolutions and watching a really bad movie called "PUSH". The only reason I watched it is because of the Chris Evans... Yeah, I know! But as any other young woman I fancy actors as well. :) ..and it's hard not to fancy someone who played Captain America. I think he's one of the best characters in The Avengers and I just can't wait till Spring time when the movie comes out. *Smile up to ears* Speaking of movies, the next year will be amazing: The Avengers ofcourse, The Dark Night Rises, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, My Week With Marilyn, lots of creepy movies The Woman In Black, The Inkeepers, The Raven ( I love Edgar Allan Poe and his novels but I don't think doing a movie out of his novels is such a great idea, but we'll see what it'll bring). The list can go on but I will not continue. :)

Here's some pictures of our Chritsmas tree and Santa's gifts.

Hope everybody had great Holidays and I wish a you all Happy New Year!

Bye for now!

December Month

The first day of december I spent by being sick and the day after I decided to cheer up myself by going to Nutcracker at Royal Opera in Stockholm. Not exactly what I expacted but it was beautiful and cosy. I wished that it would snow that day but it didn't happen. Can you imagine... It's December month and there's still no snow!? In Sweden? That was not the case last year! Make's me sad because I hate the idea of spending Christmas without snow. :(

About blogging, I haven't been that active last weeks and that's because I am busy with preparing myself for school and working at the same time as well. The time off I get I spend by being lazy. Sorry...

Tomorrow I'm going to visit my parents and when I get back I'm gonna try to update!

Before I go here's some of my favorite thingies that I own...

Elgin American Compact (I go nowhere without it).
Wool hat a la sailor but not exactly.
Shoes ofcourse! I don't go anywhere without them either ;) First once are my absolutely favorite shoes. From 40's according to the seller. Second once are another pair of OSCARIA shoes. YAY! Got them only for $7 at Tradera! Black suede, casual and simple. Really easy to change the look with shoeclips :) ...And at last:  Gaytees. A wee bit to small but I found a pair of shoes that fit into them .

...and the last pictures are taken after "Nutcracker"!
Scarf: H&M
Suit: From ViasVintage at Etsy
Shoes: Gaytees
